Humble Bundle Welcomes Two Strategic Advisors to the Black Game Developer Fund

October 13, 2020

Since we announced the $1 million Black Game Developer Fund this summer, the response has been incredible.

At Humble Games, we strive to be a force for good through gaming, and think this fund is a powerful way that we can use our platform to elevate Black game developers in the industry. And today, we’re excited to share that we’re adding two strategic advisors to the fund that will help make it even more impactful.

Starting today, Justin Woodward and Sithe Ncube will join us as Strategic Advisors to the Black Game Developer Fund. This means that they’ll help us identify even more developers that could benefit from the fund, be advocates for developers as they apply to the fund, and ultimately help steer our review and selection process.

Justin is well-known in the Black indie dev scene and is the co-founder of Interabang Entertainment.  He has also played a key role in indie game events, including IGN Indie Open House and Double Fine Indie Space.  He will focus on working with teams based in North America and Europe.

Sithe is one of the Sub-Saharan Africa organizers for the Global Game Jam, and is the founder of prosearium.net, an initiative to document 1,000 African female game developers and their games.  She is active in the African game development scene, and will be focused on working with developers from Africa in the program.
